Motives of a child, childhood and associated elements in Jáchym Topol's prose

The main aim of the thesis is to analyze child characters in Jáchym Topol's prose. Fistly, the child characters and their destiny are described in each novel. The thesis is mainly concentrated on more detailed interpretation in three novels where the child characters are used the most significantly. After that, their comparison follows. Apart from the child characters, the thesis also shows the concept of a childhood in Topolˈs novels. Furthermore, it analyzes the relationship between the children and their parents, it is also concerned in characters of a mother and a father in each novel. The thesis reflects motives of a pregnancy, a birth and an abortion as well.
